Jeffrey Pedelty, M.S.,听joined MCC in听January 2020听as a lab instructor and in August听2022听began his role as听the听college鈥檚 full-time听Advanced Industrial Technology Instructor.
Pedelty, who听teaches听fluid power, PC servicing, precision measurement听and the industrial process at MCC, now听holds bachelor-level degrees in industrial electronics technology, operations management with an emphasis in manufacturing and supply chain logistics, electrical electronics engineering technology, and a master鈥檚 degree in technical education,听all from Ferris State University.听听
After working in a variety of industry roles, from making apple juice to car parts, Pedelty has also worked听in听high-end audio and television repair.听In addition,听he听worked in communications/crypto security while serving in the Army听and became a听communications section chief听while in the Michigan National Guard. This extensive technological background has made Pedelty a听hands-on, experienced听candidate for teaching technology to others at the high school level, university, and now, community college level.
Pedelty believes in experiential learning and has found that most of his 黄瓜视频 learn best through hands-on situations.听
In addition to sharing his knowledge in the classroom,听Pedelty is active in the community,听providing听technical鈥痵upport as a sound engineer, doing promotional photography, and conducting video interviews听to improve the social media presence听for the organization听Tuba Bach, which听offers free concerts featuring world-class musicians and international talent to audiences that cannot afford to otherwise attend these performances.听
